Stephen Odey's Lone Goal Drown Wikki Tourist At Agege Stadium

Nigeria Professional Football League side, MFM FC have returned back to winning ways with a super 1-0 victory over visiting Wikki Tourist of Bauchi in NPFL's match day 12 at the Agege stadium.

The Olukoya Boys, as they are called by their fans got the only goal of the game through Stephen Odeh in the 33rd minute of the game, after
connecting with a pass from Musa Newman in the 18 yard box.

MFM have climbed up to the 4th position on the log with with 19 points after 12 games, two points behind league leaders, Rangers, who will also play their week 12 game this weekend.

Wikki Tourists were dominated by the Fidelis Ilechukwu's boys but managed to create a couple of chances which they failed to buried, as they dropped to seventh on the log with 16 points.

The hero of the night, Stephen Odey, who has scored four goals so far this season revealed that he wasn't satisfied with the scoreline but insisted that the three points were highly important to them.

MFM were beaten 1-0 in week 11 fixtures by Warri Wolves, after playing a 1-1 draw against the current league leaders, Rangers of Enugu.

"I'm satisfied with the three points, its not easy. We've gone like four games now and we haven't got three points."

"So far so good this season, I'm targeting 12 goals because this is my first time of playing in the Nigeria Professional Football league and I will even prefer to score more goals by His grace."
