Abia Warriors manager, Kennedy Boboye, has shifted focus to his side's next Nigeria Professional Football League game against Nasarawa United after edging Giwa FC 1-0 last Saturday in Umuahia.
He ascribed their good form in the league so far to hard work, with experienced players in the team,
"We give thanks to God for the victory [against Giwa] and our focus is how to get a result against Makurdi against Nasarawa United," Boboye told Goal.
"I think the presence of experienced players like John Ghaddi, Valentine Nwabil and Stanley Okoro is one, but must importantly we are a team that work so hard and that is why we keep getting good results."
Apart from this, we all nurse the same ambition of winning the NPFL title and also playing in the Caf Champions League.
And in achieving this, that means we have to be very solid in defence and brilliant in the attack not forgetting other departments of the game, but most importantly we must be able to convert our chances and avoid being complacent.
"It will be a massive disappointed if we do not win the league because that is our target this season. Besides, we are not in the Federation Cup."
