Leicester City manager, Claudio Ranieri is set to battle
Italian Serie A champions, Juventus for the signature of Pescara striker,
Gianluca Lapadula.
The 26-year-old Italian, who currently ply his trade with
the second tier league side in Italy has has
Ranieri confirmed that the Premier League champions have
been tracking Lapadula for a while ahead of the summer transfer window, adding
that he fits into the resume of players at the king Power stadium.
"I just want some new players who are at the level of
my starters, and greater tactical coordination for the team," Ranieri told
La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We also look to Italy for the market. Lapadula is very
good. We've been following him for a while."
Ranieri has vowed not to disrupt the team ethos that carried
Leicester to their stunning league title success and urged the squad to stay
