World Anti-Doping Agency, WADA has stopped the South African Doping Control Laboratory from carrying out any Anti-doping test, becoming the fourth to be suspended, in the past month after Beijing and Lisbon.
WADA has revoked Moscow's accreditation following the high rates of doping cover-ups, mostly by Russian athletes, which also puts them in the risk of missing out of this summer's Rio Olympics in Brazil.
The world anti-doping agency now has 31 accredited labs in the world, but none in Africa, but added that the laboratory may apply for reinstatement before 30 September.
The body did not disclose the reasons for the South Africa facility's suspension, which can be appealed against at the Court of Arbitration for Sport within 21 days of Bloemfontein being notified. BBC
