Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars, have denied the sack rumours of coach Mohammed Baba Ganaru by the club's authority.
The Sai Masu Gida's campaign n the ongoing season has not been upto par, as they are currently eight
points adrift of league leaders, Wikki Tourist ahead the this weekend's NPFL outing.
"I can confirm to you that Baba Ganaru was at the training ground today (Tuesday) and he hasn't received any sack letter from anybody, so I don’t know where the rumour is coming from. People should exercise patience with him, if they want him to leave, he will definitely go once it is time," a top source told Goal.
"In today's training the coach worked on the performance of the players so that the club would finish in a good position at the end of the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
"We are training hard to improve on our performance and win our upcoming matches so as to be in a better position.
He called on the club's fans and other well wishers to support the team to move it forward instead of spreading rumours.
"Kano Pillars is a big club with hard working and disciplined players and staff, and they need your support to move forward, spreading rumours will only cause disunity within the team."
