Tanzania head coach, Boniface Mkwasa, has described his side's last African Cup of Nations Group G qualifiers against Nigeria as inconsequential.
Super Eagles, under new manager, Gernot Rohr, will face the Taifa Stars at the Akwa Ibom international stadium on September 3.
Mkwasa, who released his 20-man squad for the Super Eagles clash, injected three newcomers into his team- Ibrahim Rajab, Mdhamiru Yassin and Jamal Mnyate, while the defensive pair of Kelvin Yondan and Shomary Kapombe, who missed out on the last encounter against Egypt in June returned to the team.
The former Taifa Stars captain left TP Mazembe midfielder, Thomas Ulimwengu, out of his squad due to an injury whilst captain Mbwana Samata of Belgian outfit Genk is the only foreign-based player int he team.
"It is the last game, I do not see the burden of calling many players because we have already lost our chance to qualify, I believe the squad I called is enough to win in Nigeria," said Mkwasa, a former captain of the Taifa Stars.
