IfeanyiUbah FC attacking midfielder, Stephen Adah, has said that he was disappointed in everyone saying the proprietor of the Anambra Warriors influence referee's decisions on the field.
Adah said the report was alien to him but added that gone were the days when teams win games at all cost.
He explained that his side were justified when they defeated Warri Wolves at home, after football fans alleged foul play in the FA Cup semi final in Abeokuta- saying that they went to Warri to pick all three points.
"I'm just hearing it for that first time and I don't know why people must always complain about referees in Nigeria league."
"But if referee favour the team in FA cup, we still beat them in their home in Warri, that means we are justified with the FA cup victory." Adah told tomiwababalola.com on Wednesday
"Yes of course, we don't have must win syndrome again unlike before in the league."
FCIU are currently one point behind the current league leaders, Wikki Tourists and Rivers United, who have 53 points after match day 33 last weekend.
