Warri Wolves players have insisted that they will not be playing their Nigeria Professional Football league week 33 fixture on Sunday except if the club's management pay their salaries.
Some of the players, who spoke to tomiwababaalola.com, said that the club is owing them upto five months salaries and they have ran out of patience to continue to work without being paid.
The Seasiders are supposed to have a date with embattled Giwa FC, but the match may not hold as the Jos Elephants still have a pending case in the law court.
"We have waited this long for them to pay us and up until this moment, they haven't and we have decided that if they don't pay we won't play the game."
Another player told us that the team has already taken a stand not to play the game regardless of what anyone says, except if the management will consider the players and do the right thing by paying them.
"We are not playing tomorrow, we will only be on standby in case they pay our money."
"They are owing up to five months salary and the season is almost winding up, considering what happened to Taraba United, we don't want ours to end up in such manner that's why we are fighting for what's rightfully ours."
