Warri Wolves forward, Kelvin Itoya, has insisted that his side were unlucky to have lost their NPFL match day 32 game to IfeanyiUbah FC at home last weekend, saying football matches can be unpredictable.
The seasiders were beaten 1-0 in front of their home fans, at the Warri Township stadium and the striker believes that they will bounce back in their next game against Enyimba FC.
The coach Mansur Abdullahi's men have were beaten three times out of their last NPFL games and they are 18th on the log with 35 points from 30 games,
"That's football for you, we drew at MFM,conceded a late goal."
"Yesterday's game was just how football treats you sometimes...we didn't do badly at all."
"Our players played their best but we were just unlucky to have conceded and we couldn't just equalise."
"That's d major problem right now,the welfare of d players but we don't want to use that as an excuse."
"But definitely is d major problem we have in Warri Wolves."
"Definitely it will affect d team that's d management need to do something really fast."
"It all lies within us as players and and we re going to play our hearts out in d remaining 6 matches to ensure that we end d season out of d relegation zone."
Wolves will be on break this weekend as their opponent in the NPFL, Enyimba, are on continental assignment against Mamelodi Sundowns in Port Harcourt.
