Super Eagles and AS Monaco of France left full-back, Elderson Echiejile has expressed excitement at his side's qualification to the next round of the UEFA champions league after edging out Arsenal on an away goal rule.
Monaco defeated Arsenal at the Emirates mid-February and Arsenal returned the favour on Tuesday night in France but, the Arsene Wenger's two goals victory wasn't enough to put them through to the next round as they needed a three unreplied goals.
Echiejile who came in as a substitute in the 86th minute of the game said his side are grateful for moving a step closer to the title but revealed they must be extra focus at this stage of the championship.
