Chelsea have extended their leadership on the premier league table on Tuesday night after breezing past Leicester City in their postponed league game.

With this victory, Chelsea are remians top of the league with 80 points, 13 ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal who are second and third on the log respectively.

The Stamford Bridge side were one goal down at the end of the first half of the game but with goals from Didier Drogba, captain John Terry and midfielder, Ramires, the Jose Mourinho-men were able to come from behind to snatch a 3-1 away victory, to edge them closer to lifting the title since 2010.

With four more games, Mourinho and his boys will only need an additional three points to lift the title this season, which will be added to the Capital One cup, which is already in the trophy shelve foe the Blues this season.

Chelsea have gone 14 games unbeaten will face Crystal Palace at home this weekend to determine if they have to wait a bit longer before they can be crowned the champions for this season.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has this to say about his players "It's phenomenal what the players doing. We've been top of the League since day one. It's not easy against a team on a fantastic run at home, to be losing at half-time and come back in the second half and do it the way my boys did it.

"I'll leave it to other people to recognise what we are: I know what we are. In a very pragmatic way, I think we're what every team would like to be. I think it was stylish but it's also stylish to defend very well."
