FIFA U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles coach invites Kelechi Iheanacho, 34 others to camp

The Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba has called Manchester City youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho and 34 others to the Nigeria's U-20 provisional squad for the 2015 Fifa U20 World Cup that starts on May 30.

Nigeria their seventh African youth Championship title for a record seventh time in Senegal in March 2015, heading to New Zealand as the African champions.

Garba also called Taiwo Awoniyi, who scored three goals at the 2015 AYC in Senegal, gold winning goalkeeper at the FIFA U-17 world cup in Dubai, Dele Alampasu, Prince Omego and Abdullahi Mustapaha while Wasiu Jimoh, Zaharaddeen Bello and Usman Sani Sale were also invited.

Isaac Success and Musa Yahaya also returned after missing out of the African Youth Championship in Senegal along side Iheanacho, who was not released by Manchester United due to injury.

The highest goal scorer at the 20th Africa U20 Championship, Musa Muhammed was also given an invitation by coach Manu Garba for the preparations towards the U-20 world cup which commences May 30, 2015.

There are four goalkeepers, ten defenders, ten midfielders and eleven strikers.

Nigeria will face five-time champions Brazil , Hungary and Korea DPR in Group E of the preliminary round of the 2015 Fifa World Youth Championship in New Zealand.
