Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has voiced out that his side has no reason to continue to sell their players following Manchester City's interest in England midfielder, Jack Wilshere.
City, who are now two points behind the Gunners have been monitoring Wilshere's situation in their bid to rejuvenate squad that looks unlikely to defend last season's Premier League title and is one of the oldest of any major club in Europe.
Wenger has sold quite a number of player to City, many of which have gone ahead to win titles which elude them back at the Emirate stadium and these players include Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, and Bakaray Sagna, others are Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona, Robin Van Persie to Manchester United, Alex Song and many others, but Wenger insists that Wilshere, who has struggled with form and fitness this season, is going nowhere.
When asked about the possibility of the midfielder joining City, Wenger replied: "We are not in a position anymore where we have to sell our best players."
Wilshere has made just 12 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season, scoring one goal. Goal
