The Nigeria Football Federation, through its Secretary General, Mohammed Sanusi have vowed to give both the Super Falcons and the Dream Team VI all the support to make them prepare well for the forthcoming All African Games, which they both picked their tickets last weekend.

The Edwin Okon side started with the victory after demolishing Mali 8-0 inside the Abuja national stadium,  to qualify on 9-1 aggreagate.

While the national U-23 team got a slim win over Zambia far away from home, with Taiwo Awoniyi scoring a brace to earn the Siasia-led the confidence of participating in the 2015 edition of the championship billed for Congo, Brazzaville in September.

Reigning queen of African football Asisat Oshoala, France-based Desire Oparanozie and United States of America based Francesca Ordega all got braces in the match.

“We give the glory to God that our teams have qualified for the All Africa Games and of course to thank all Nigerians who stood by us; we appreciate their support and we won’t let them down” Sanusi told footballlive.ng.

“We are going to make sure that any competition we enter; we’ll represent the country very well. We still have the Olympics qualifier and the Super Falcons still has the World Cup. Our character has always been to give the teams quality preparations but you know that the AAG and the Olympics are under the National Sports Commission (NSC) but we will make sure that we collaborate with them to make sure that we give the teams adequate preparations”

He further explained that the NFF will work hand-in-hand with the National Sports Commission to ensure that preparations for the Olympics and the All African Games go well since both competitions are under the NSC.
