The Super Falcons of Nigeria have made it to the 2015 All African Games in Congo Brazaville following their 8-0 mauling of Mali in the second leg qualifiers in today.

The first leg of the encounter in Bamako ended 1-1, but two goals from Liverpool's Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie, and Francesca Ordega while Evelyn Nwabuoku and substitute Esther Sunday notched one each to make the fixture a walk in the park for the African champions.

Oparanozie gave the host the lead after cleverly converting Oshoala's cross from the right corner in the second minute, while Francesca Ordega made it 2-0 in the 18th minute of the game after she was left unmarked in the heart of the visitors' defence.

The visitors had their first clear chance in the five minutes later, but the Malian striker played into the calm hands of Nigeria's goalkeeper Whyte Ibubeleye.

Oshoala finally found the net in the 38th minute of the game thanks to Oparanozie's through pass, but the Malian shot-stopper could not stop the Liverpool Ladies forward after which Oparanozie got her second and the fourth of the evening before the break.

Sixty minutes after the game resumed in the second half, the 2014 Africa's women best player scored her second, benefiting from the visitors’ defensive blunder.

Five minutes later, the England-based star nearly stretched the lead after outsmarting her marker, but was interrupted.

Ordega found a breakthrough soon after and grabbed her own brace to make it 6-0 for the hosts.

In the 71st minute, captain Nwabuoku hit a screamer from nearly 25 yards to make it 7-0 before substitute Esther Sunday powered home for 8-0 from a rebound two minutes later.

Nigeria will now head to Brazzaville in September after missing out on the last tournament in Mozambique in 2011. Goal
