Channels National Kids Cup Season 7: Enyeanugie Primary School, Edo beat Research Model Primary School, Kaduna 2-0

Enyeanugie Primary School, Edo State have emerged the champions of the 2015 edition of the Channels National Kids Cup on Wednesday.

The champions defeated their opponent from the Research Model Primary School, Kaduna State 2-0 to win the Seventh edition of the championship.

The final which was played at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos started with 16 teams across the nation before the Edo State team emerge the champions eventually.

Two unreplied Goals from Samuel Edide and Miracle Cabila gave the South-South side the all needed victory in the keenly contested championship among registered primary schools.

Meanwhile Christ the King, Akwa-Ibom State, came third after beating Nana Primary School from Delta State in the third place match earlier played on Wednesday.

Before the final match, Channels FC and Eko Football team, locked horns in a novelty match that ended 1-1.

Channels team took the lead in the first half of the game, with a goal by Williams Osewezina, but the Eko team came back in the second half, with an equalizer.
