Fifa executives have formally welcome the Flying Eagles of Nigeria to New Zealand ahead of the kick off of the 2015 world cup championship.

The African Champions landed in New Zealand after about two weeks of training tour in Germany where they played three games- winning all.

The Manu Garba led side will start their campaign against Brazil on June 1 before their the remaining two games on June 4 and 7 respectively.

Nigeria have only got to the final of this championship twice, failing to win any of the two in 1989 and in 2005.
