NFF sacks Daniel Amokachi, replaced by Salisu Yusuf

The Nigeria Football Federation have appointed Salisu Yusuf to assist Stephen Keshi, who is managing the Super Eagles team for the second time.

The former Kano Pillars and Enyimba coach, who is to replace immediately is replacing Daniel Amokachi, who was a member of the team that won the 2013 edition of AFCON title in South Africa.


The announcement unceremonious as it was only announced by the Federation on its social media platform on Thursday along with a list of 26 invited home-based players expected to ” kick-start the team’s camping programme ahead of next month’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad, ” per NFF.

Meanwhile, nothing was said about ex International Daniel Amokachi; who was relieved of his duties as interim Coach as soon as Keshi was re-appointed. Footballlive
