Former coach of the national U-20 team, John Obuh has tipped the Flying Eagles of Nigeria to reach the final of the FIFA U-20 world cup with will kick off later this month.
The African champions, who will be competing with the rest of the world in New Zealand have reached the finals of this championship, first in 1989 and then in 2005.
Obuh, said that with right selection of players and some quality friendly games, that the sky will be the starting point for the coach Manu Garba-led team, who have chosen Germany as their base camp for preparations ahead of the tournament.
"I hope their training camp will be very successful, play some good friendlies and make few corrections from the past and every player fight for the final 21 names that’ll be sent to FIFA
"I know the sky will be their limit, as far as the Coaches and the players are concerned, the general expectation is that they play into the final of the World Cup.” footballlive
