Blames NFF for Vincent Enyeama query saga- Sunday Oliseh

Former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh has said that the Nigeria Football Federation has no right to summon Vincent Enyeama to face the body’s disciplinary committee.

He explained that the fact that the Lille of France goalkeeper went ahead to play the game and even won by 2 goals margin is enough to let the NFF know he was only interested in protecting his team against the volatility of the northern region.

Oliseh further charged the nation’s FA to consider returning national team games to Lagos where support for the teams are unprecedented, and could put the teams under pressure if they are underperforming.

“He’s not a civil servant why are you querying him? If he is not happy playing in Kaduna, take it up as a federation and respect the man’s opinion. Nigeria just likes to make trouble out of nothing.”

“If my son does something wrong, I will give him a platform to air his opinion. Amaju Pinnick should have called Vincent Enyeama.”

“It is legal to seek another job while you are still employed by a federation but let’s not jump the gun; we have to find out if Keshi applied for the job.”

“If you sack Keshi now, who is credible to take over from him at this point, I think they should let the man work.”

“The pressure is less now unlike what we went through in our days. Imagine those days when you are playing in a capacity of a hundred thousand fans who will threaten you if you haven’t score in twenty minutes.”

“I am telling the NFF to return super eagles games to Lagos… we played at the national stadium for 10 years and we never lost a single game in that venue.”

“The Lagos fans were volatile because they believed in us and even wanted us to do better than the performance were putting up.”

“I don’t think you fire your coach every time he fails to win a title, you must find out what happened in the camp if the coach requires empowerment.”

“This is 2015, to win titles; you must put everything in place, players, philosophy tactical discipline.”

“There isn’t progression without competition”

“For us to produce prayers you have to make the league a competitive one, there’s more to problems in the Nigerian league than meet the eye.”

“We must improve our coaching capacity to match-up to the global quality and ensure greater results from the championship.” Brila Fm
