Four second half goals from Savior Godwin, Kingsley Sokari and Isaac Success gave the Flying Eagles of Nigeria their first three points in the ongoing FIFA U-20 world cup in New Zealand.
The game which ended goalless in the first half of the game saw the coach bench Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, Granada's Isaac Success and Musa Yahaya from the starting line up, following their 4-2 defeat to Brazil on Monday morning.
Savior found the back of the net three minutes into the second half and doubled the African champions lead in the 51st minutes, to reduce the pressure in the team.
Enyimba international midfielder, who did not start against Brazil got his first goal of the tournament and the third for the Nigerian side on the 71st minute, ensuring that the victory is sealed.
As if that wasn't enough, coach Manu Garba substituted Benard Bulbwa for Isaac Success and the substitute got the fourth and final for the game.
Kelechi Iheanacho was on the bench all through the game meanwhile, Ifeanyi Matthew didn't play at all due to a slight injury and joshua Enaholo remained in goal for the Nigeria U-20 side, despite the disappointing performance against Brazil on Monday.
