Flying Eagles Are Condemned To Win Against North Korea and Hungary- Ugbade

Flying Eagles assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade has admitted that the Nigeria's U-20 side are condemned to win their two remaining group E games against North Korea and Hungary on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

The African Youth Champions were beaten 4-2 by Brazil in their group opener on Monday morning.

Ugbade revealed that they will stick by Joshua Enaholo, to boost his confidence despite allowing cheap goals that led to the defeat of the African Champions.

"We are condemned to win our next game against North Korea and Hungary after losing to Brazil."
"We will not drop Iheanacho and Success because we lost."

"Even the biggest goalkeepers make blunder, we have to encourage him and he will still start the next game"
"This wasn't what we planned for but stage freight rubbed us off our plans."

We don't have a plan other than to draw the first blood against North Korea to keep the team in the campaign.
"There's no game plan other than striking first to draw them out of their corner. All we need is the three points because we don't want to come home early as I did in 1987, coming back early."

"I don't want it to happen to these boys again."

"If you can win all you games then you can talk about the trophy but we are more focused on coming out of this group to the next stage." TopSport
