NFF clears Dele Alampasu

Former national U-17 goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu has been cleared by the Nigeria Football Federation to commit his future to any club he decides to play for.

Alampasu, who sat on the bench all through the Flying Eagles' campaign in New Zealand has had his contract put on hold as both Future Stars and Football College claimed ownership.

However, at a meeting in Abuja, the Players’ Status Committee  led Alhaji Babagana Kalli, ruled that the contracts that the player with both non-league outfit saying he signed as a minor.

“Future Stars Academy, Lagos and Football College, Abuja will only be entitled to training compensation/solidarity mechanism in accordance with the FIFA Regulations on Players’ Status and Transfer, 2014,” the committee ruled.

With this, Alampasu will now join new Super Eagles midfielder, Anderson Esiti at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota. NFF
