The captain of Ifeanyi Ubah FC, Oluchukwu Nwosu, has described Sunshine stars FC of Akure as temporal league leaders.
Oluchukwu said that the Akure outfit, which currently tops the Nigeria Professional Football League table after 13 games are not as tough as the defending champions.
"I believe that at the end Sunshine Stars must go down and we don’t consider them as much of a threat as Kano Pillars or Enyimba as far as our title ambition is concerned."
"In any case I believe IfeanyiUbah FC must end the season strong and this might require us to defeat some big teams along the way, a task I think we can undertake," Oluchukwu stated.
IfeanyiUbah's next game will be against Wikki Tourist on Sunday while Sunshine Stars FC will lock horns with away with Enugu Rangers, who are 11th on the league table. footballlive
