Sunday Mba quits relegated Bastia

Super Eagles hero at the 2013 African Cup of Nations against Burkina Faso, Sunday Mba has revealed that he's ready for a new challenge after his side, Bastia got relegated in the French Ligue 1 last season.

Mba, who was unable to help his side stay in the French topflight said that offers are coming in from Europeans clubs, but assured that this time he will choose a club that will help improve his career/

“I did my best for my last club. But a new dawn will soon come because after the expiration of my contract with Bastia, I am moving unto greater things.

“I have had offers from Germany, Portugal, France and Russia and I am going to make sure I carefully choose the club that will boost career in all ramifications.

“I may have gone through some patches in the game, but I am hopeful that all will be well beginning from the new European season in August.

“Everything will work well for me and I am ready to take up the challenge that is presenting itself now,” Mba said.
