Ugbade insists Flying Eagles won't return without world cup title

Flying Eagles assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade has insisted that the Nigeria's U-20 side are going to do all they can to return to the country with the FIFA U-20 title

The coach Manu Garba-led side have got  scores to settle as the two sides clash in the round of 16 in the ongoing FIFA U-20 world cup in New Zealand.

Ugbade also confirmed that the boys are already in good mood to spank the European champions on Thursday morning.

"Coming back home will be very bad at this time so I still don’t want to come back home at this point. And even if we are coming back, we want to come back with the trophy."

"We are due respect for Germany with the fact that they have scored so many goals but if they are careful they will go home."

"It was just a technical error and not the complacent attitude of the players."

"All the players are already in the groove, but we have a plan and that’s what we are going to stick to."

"Both Iheanacho and Success are important to the team but the most important is that we follow the need for the team and not names."

"The game plan is try to control the game and follow through."

"The team doctor is on top of the game to keep the players in shape despite the cold weather in New Zealand."

"We are going to make Nigerians proud, but we also need your prayers to succeed against the Germans tomorrow." Topsport
