Super Eagles midfielder, Joel Obi, has joined Serie A side, Torino from Inter Milan in a deal estimated for about €2.4 million fee.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder, who will join his teammates for their club’s pre-season tour this July signed a four-year deal with the Stadio Olimpico outfit his summer and his contract will run out in 2019.
"Joel Obi has completed a medical before signing a four-year deal to join Torino on a permanent transfer from Inter Milan. Obi will be join his new team in preseason training on July 8,” a statement from Torino read.
Obi will likely replace Morocco international El Kaddouri, who will be returning to parent club Napoli after completing a loan spell in Turin.
A youth product of Inter, he made 71 appearances for the Nerazzurri since breaking into the first team in 2010 and made 11 Serie A appearances last season.
