I Never Used Charms In My playing Days; Dimeji Lawal Replies Taribo West

Former Nigerian international, Dimeji Lawal has blasted Taribo West following his claims that all footballers used charms to achieve success.

The 44-year old midfielder, who played at Madrid B team said he

never got involved in drugs or charms, saying that all he became in football was the help of God and his God given talent.

The former Julius Berger players admitted that his success cannot be compared to West's but insisted that he never got his hands dirty because of fame and success in football.

"How come Taribo participated in all negative side of the game? He confessed to drugs. He confessed to voodoo or juju even talisman. Marabous' all sort."

"Categorically am not here to judge or crucify him, but personally, I never search beyond my God given talent, and i'm sure a lot of African brothers never did."
