A top Nigeria Football Federation official has disclosed that the camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria will reopen at the end of the month ahead of a series of proposed friendlies in Europe.
The camp will also serve as an avenue to prepare the team for the
2016 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.
“The team will resume training at the end of the month, which will be in three weeks, to prepare for a CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso and a number of friendlies in Europe,” an official informed AfricanFootball.com
“The players from the domestic league will form the preliminary squad with the foreign-based stars to join up in Europe.”
The NFF are planning to take advantage of the next FIFA free window to organise games for the Eagles to blend the team coach Sunday Oliseh has began building.
The home-based Eagles will also welcome their Burkina counterparts in a 2016 CHAN qualifier between October 16-18 with the return leg between October 23 and 25 in Ouagadougou.
The overall winners of this tie will qualify for the African Nations Championship in Rwanda next year.
