Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo has signed a 5-year contract extension with his English Premier League, Watford FC.
The club said on their twitter handle that they are pleased to have the Nigerian international with them for another five seasons.
The 26-year old helped the Hornets’ qualify for English topflight last season by scoring 20 goals in 35 Championship appearance for the team.
On his debut in the English topflight, he was on target as Watford played a 2-2 draw against Everton.
Ighalo has three senior international cap to his name, having been handed his debut in Nigeria’s 1-0 defeat to Uganda in March 2015.
Having previously spent time on loan at Cesena and Granada, he will be hoping to catch the eye of Quique Sánchez Flores as the Hornets attempt to remain in the English topflight next season
