Siasia Laments Non Release Of NPFL Players By Their Clubs

Dream Team VI Coach, Samson Siasia has called on the Nigeria Football Federation to come to his rescue after 20 out of the 30 players invited to the Nigeria's U-23 refused to show up.

Siasia said that only 10 have reported, which is delaying preparation for next month’s Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.

The 3 top teams from the 2-weeks competition will gain automatic qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro but having missed the last edition of the Games in London, Siasia suggests Nigeria is at risk of missing out again while laying the blame entirely at the feet of NPFL clubs.
