Former Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh, has commended the Nigeria U23 national team after beating Japan in the Group B game early on Friday morning.

The Samson Siasia's boys, who arrived at the venue of the Games few hours before the kick off scored five but also conceded four in the night.

Oghenekaro Etebo scored four of the five goals, while Sadiq Umar gave Nigeria the first goal of the tournament in the 6th minute.
