Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique has named his second child Sacha after his wife put to bed in one Barcelona hospital on Thursday.
"The second son of Pique and his girlfriend Shakira has been given the name Sacha. Their first son Milan was born two years ago.'
Pique, 27, and the Colombian pop-star, 37, announced the news in a statement shortly before midnight.
Around 24 hours before the birth, Pique had played the full 90 minutes in Wednesday night’s 3-2 Copa del Rey victory over Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon.
As with their first child, Pique and Shakira will continue family tradition and make the baby an associate member of FC Barcelona.
The celebrity couple have been together since 2010. They announced their second pregnancy as well as the baby’s sex back in August 2014.
