Manchester United are not giving up hope of signing Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale as they have put aside about £120m to sign the Welsh man.
The 24-year old striker has earlier this month debunked insinuations stating he would join the Red Devils during the January transfer window, saying he won't join the club for any amount at all.
The Premier League giants, who are currently fourth on the league table are desperate to land the Welshman and Louis van Gaal has admitted he would table a world-record bid for the former Tottenham player.
The Old Trafford outfit are also planning a bid of about £30m for Roma midfielder, Radja Nainggolan as they look to improve on their midfield options as the January transfer deadline approaches. The 26-year-old has also been on Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool's radar.
Manchester United are not in Europe at all this season and will be looking forward to getting back to European action, after a woeful campaign under the reign of the Real Soceidad coach, David Moyes in the 2014/14 EPL season.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are watching proceedings also inside of Real Madrid for Portugal international, Pepe who might be on his way out of the club when the season folds up this summer.
The offensive-defender has traded his first-team opportunities taken in 2014-15 by the emergence of Raphael Varane, who Jose Mourinho is looking desperately to sign to improve on Chelsea's back line.
Manchester City have also informed Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes that they would be interested in signing the three-time Ballon d'Or award winner if he chooses to return to the English Premiership side.
The Ethiad outfit insist that they will table a world-record bid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo if he decides to return to England. Goal
