Super Eagles and West Brom striker, Brown Ideye has debunked rumours about his move away from the Hawthorns Arena on transfer deadline day.

The former Dynamo Kiev forward was signed last summer for a club-record fee believed to be around €13 million, but has failed to impress scoring only one goal from 13 Premier League appearances.

Ideye took to twitter to express his disappointment at such rumours saying "I'm still a West Brom player".

Rumours flooded the social media that the Baggies have agreed to sell Ideye  to Al Gharafat of Qatar, but the Nigeria international inisists there was no truth in the stories.

"I'm still a West Bromwich Albion player, don't know where that news about me leaving #wba came from," he tweeted on Tuesday.

"Have not started doing what I know how to do best, so I can (sic) just leave #wba like that #biglovetoallthefans #lovewba."West Brom visit struggling Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday. goal
