As part of a rebuilding process for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation have reiterated their commitment in putting a full advantage of the International window when it opens 23-31 March, with two high profile friendlies being lined-up for the Eagles.

Although, the countries lined up for the friendlies were not listed but the Amaju Pinnick-led administrations are hoping to be able to fix the Eagles, since the Brazilian national team pulled out of a proposed game fixed last November.

The team's assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi was in charge of the home-based team to the Middle East where the home-based Eagles lost to Ivory Coast, who are already in the final of the 2015 AFCON tourney 0-1 and defeated the Yemen national team 2-0 before heading back home.

Those friendlies the Federation said on that occasion it was preparing the Eagles B for the 2016 CHAN in Rwanda.

The General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Musa Amadu said there is a process to consolidate on the January friendlies.

” We have started a building process with the friendly matches against Côte d’Ivoire and Yemen that were played in the United Arab Emirates and we’ll continue with these processes.”

” I know that discussions are on-going and we’ll play two quality friendly matches in March. I won’t disclose the countries until everything is sealed and delivered. But I can assure you two friendlies will be played in March and the Eagles will execute them.” footballlive
