The Nigeria Football Federation has urged Nigerians to come out en mass to support the nation’s national U-23 team as they host their counterparts from Gabon in the 2nd leg of the 11th All-Africa Games qualifiers at the National Stadium, Abuja.

The Dream Team VI are one step into the next stage of the qualifiers as they defeated their Gabonese opponents 4-1 in the first leg of the same encounter, and will be hoping to consolidate on their success on Saturday.

This information was released on NFF’s website, and the General Secretary Musa Amadu has confirmed that the Federation will open the gates in order to show appreciation to Nigerian ball fans for their unwavering support for the National Teams over the years.

Saturday’s match is the second leg of a first round fixture, with the 1996 Olympic gold medallists having swept to a 4-1 win in the first leg played in Libreville on February 21.

The Gabonese contingent of 27 persons arrived in Abuja on Wednesday evening and are staying at the Chida International Hotel.
