Ordega who, was left out of the Falcons team at the last edition of the FIFA women's world cup in Germany four years ago says she cannot wait to help her country do well in Canada.

“I know the immediate task before us is to qualify for both the All Africa games and the Olympic games against Mali but this cannot stop me from dreaming about the world cup because I know we would beat Mali to qualify for both games.

“At the last world cup in Germany, I was one of the young players drafted into the Super Falcons from the Under-20 team that lost in the final. I didn’t get to kick a ball then, so I want to make my mark this time in Canada” she stated

She continued “we failed to qualify from the group stage and that perhaps was one of the reasons I did not get to play any game in Germany but I am confident that we shall qualify from our group this time despite the tough teams in our group”

The former Bayelsa Queens player also revealed that she is out of contract with her Swedish club, Pitea IF and that she would soon return to Europe to sign for a club her agent is discussing with adding that her being in camp early is to keep shape. NFF
