The Super Falcons of Nigeria were on Saturday unable to beat their Equatorial Guinea counterpart following their 1-1 draw at the Abuja national stadium.
The African champions opened scoring in the first half of the game but the visitors cancelled the goal in the second half, leaving the Nigerian side to win at all cost if they must stand a chance to feature in next year's Olympic games in Rio, Brazil.
The second leg in Equatorial Guinea comes up in the next two weeks and the Nigerian side must fulfil their promise to the late media officer, Gracious Akujobi.
