Flying Eagles duo, Taiwo Awoniyi and Musa Yahaya will start on the bench for Samson Siasia's boys in their 2016 Olympic qualifiers against Congo Today in port Harcourt.
Awoniyi, who saved Siasia's blushes against Zambia in the last round of the All African Games qualifiers is being replaced by a national U-20 teammate, Godwin Saviour.The Nigeria U23 coach has opted to go with basically the team he has played in the qualifying rounds of the All Africa Games meaning Shooting Stars Junior Ajayi will spearhead the attack alongside Godwin Saviour.
The midfield has Etebor Oghenekaro, Azubuike Okechukwu, Usman Mohammed with Enyimba ace Etor Daniel on the wings.
The defence to give cover to goalkeeper Daniel Emmanuel is made up of full backs Stanley Amuzie and Sadiq Atanda with central defenders Erhun Obanor and Oduduwa.
