Larry Eghosa Laments TopRadio's Early Exit In 2015 Lagos SWAN Cup

Top Radio midfielder Larry Eghosa Okhuosi has lamented his side's early exit at the ongoing SWAN Cup at the Legacy pitch of the national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The Olawale Adigun tutored side needed to score three goals against the News Agency of Nigeria in their last group games but could only manage to score two as their opponents pulled one back.

Larry scored a superb second half goal for his side, after connecting a pass outside of the 18 yard box and burying it at the other corner of the goal post.

Despite finishing with 5 points in their group, they were unable to go through to the next stage as they were edged out on goal difference.

"We had our destinies in our hands but our weak mental strength let us down. Well, we have to move forward. Thanks for the concern. Have a fulfilled day."

"Thanks for the compliments. I've been hearing that ever since from even those who didn't see it. Trust me, I'll trade that for two ugly goals. I'm still gutted." Larry told tomiwababalola.blogspot.com

Larry explained that they were ousted because they were unable to convert their chances, while Sportsday and Complete Sports progressed to the next level.

The 2015 SWAN Cup quarter finals and semi finals will be played on Thursday after the competition observed a day rest.
