English Premier League defending champions, Chelsea kicked off their 2015/16 campaign on a disappointing note after throwing away a lead twice to end the game 2-2 at the Stamford Bridge.
Oscar put the Blues in front in the 23rd minutes of the game through a free kick right in front of Swansea's 18-yard box, after his previous attempt was denied by Fabianski.
But Ghana's Andre Ayew cancelled Oscar's goal in the 29th
minute with a rebound which was first denied by Thibaut Courtois.
Jose Mourinho's men took the lead 90 seconds after Ayew's goal but this time it was an own goal by Federico Fernandez in the 30th minute.
Mourinho was forced to change goalkeeper after Courtois was red carded in the 54th minute of the game.
Bafetimbi Gomis equalised for the Gary Monk's men in the 55th minute and held their ground, snatching one point away at the Bridge.
