Lovethpatra Targets All African Games Flyweight Gold Medal

A three-time Flyweight gold medalist, Lovethpatra Ekufu has vowed to win gold for Nigeria at the forth coming All African Games staging in Congo Brazaville in September.

The Flyweight boxer, who has been in the United States of America preparing for the games, where she won gold medals, the last which she clinched last month.

Her handler, Ike Enwereuzor revealed that Lovethpatra has fought 15 opponents and she hasn't lost any of them, a feat he believes will boost her confidence to clinch the gold medal in her category for the country.

The mid-twenty boxer is a police officer in the Nigerian Police Force and the Inspector General has already given her his blessings, as he awaits the arrival of the gold medal hopeful in Congo.

"She has won four world kicking championship titles before switching into full boxing.

"She has also won three gold medals in the flyweight boxing category."

"Last one was in July 18 in Georgia Atlanta games boxing championship,"

"She is invited by Nigeria for all Africa games/ Olympics qualifying"

"She will join the rest of the team soon for their final preparations before the games but I can assure you she's been preparing for the games all alone."

The All African Games will start on September 4 and end on 19 of the same month.
