Head coach of the Nigeria's U17 team, Emmanuel Amuneke has expressed satisfaction towards his side's performance against Australia early Thursday morning at the ongoing FIFA U17 world cup in Chile.
The defending champions, who have made it to the last eight stage of the tourney thrashed the Aussies 6-0, with Victor Osimhen bagging his first hatrick of the tournament.
Amunike insisted that their 6-0 victory will not distract them from the tasks ahead- Nigeria will face Brazil 8pm on Sunday in the championship's quarter final.
The former African footballer of the year maintained that Brazil are a top team- one of those teams that could lift this year's edition because of their quality and depth.
"We thank God we were able to score 6, take our chances. We are in the quarter finals and am happy for the team."
