Nigeria kicked off their CHAN 2016 campaign in Rwanda with a massive 4-1 victory over Niger in second Group C game on Monday.
The Sunday Oliseh-led team were unable to break the Menas defence in the first 45 minutes but the story changed in the
second half as Osas Okoro put the eagles in front with a beautiful volley.
Chisom Chikatara doubled the CHAN Eagles lead 15 minutes to the end of the game with a thunderous shot as Adebayor pulled one back for Niger five minutes later.
And then scored two more goals to complete a hattrick as the Eagles tops Group C with three points, while Tunisia played a two all draw with Guinea.
Nigeria now have three points, Tunisia and Guine are second and third respectively with one point each and Niger, are bottom of the group with no point.
