We Won't Sell Ighalo For Any Price In This World- Watford FC Management

English Premier League side, Watford, have insisted that Super Eagles forward, Odion Jude Ighalo will not be sold “under any circumstances” as the transfer window opens on January 1.

The Nigerian international, who helped the last season's championship side gained promotion to English topflight this season, has already scored 14 goals, bringing his tally to about 30 in the 2015 calendar year.

The former Granada man has been heavily linked with a transfer to La Liga side, Atletico Madrid as well as Italian club Roma with Atletico reportedly willing to fork out 12 million pounds for the 26-year-old striker.

Before the start of the season, the Nigeria star also turned down “a crazy deal” from China to stay with the Hornets, who are eighth on the EPL table.

Watford skipper Troy Deeney has already said Ighalo’s goals will guarantee the modest club a windfall of 200 million pounds should they stay up in the EPL and a new television revenue sharing formula kicks in next season. Africanfootball
