Chelsea's Kurt Zouma To Be Sidelined For Six Months After Surgery

Chelsea defender, Kurt Zouma, has confirmed on his twitter handle "@kurtzouma that he will miss
the rest of the Premire League season and Euro 2016 after injuring his right anterior cruciate knee ligament during Sunday's 1-1 draw against Manchester United.

The France international, who has been a regular for the Blues was stretched out of the Sunday's EPL fixture for immediate medical attention after landing awkwardly during the game at Stamford Bridge.

The Stamford Bridge side, after learning the diagnosis of the 21-year old defender informed the world that Zouma will be out for at least six months: "Chelsea Football Club's medical team have diagnosed that Kurt Zouma sustained an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament during yesterday's Premier League game against Manchester United.

"Kurt will undergo surgery in the next 48 hours and is expected to be out for approximately six months."

Following the news, Zouma tweeted thanks to his followers for their support and vowed to return stronger after establishing himself as a first-team regular this season. Goal
