Wenger Confirms Rosicky's Injury; Says He'll Be Out For Three Months

Arsenal midfielder, Tomas Rosicky, is expected to be out of action for about three months or more due to the recent thigh problem against Burnley last Saturday.

The 35-year-old, who will become a free agent come summer if the Ginners refuse to renew his contract appeared for Arsenal for
the first time in seven month for the Emirate side, but suffered another injury.

Czech Republic international Rosicky joined Arsenal in May 2006.

Asked if Rosicky had played his last game for the Gunners, boss Arsene Wenger said: "I hope not but the injury is quite a serious one."

Rosicky, who has made 246 appearances for Arsenal, signed a one-year contract extension last summer.

Meanwhile, Wenger has confirmed striker Danny Welbeck will make his return to action for the under-21s on Friday.

Welbeck has been sidelined since April 2015 after injuring himself in a 0-0 draw with Chelsea. BBC
