#Lagos Derby: Azeez; Kabir Reacts To Ikorodu United's Barren Draw Against MFM

Ikorodu United striker, Kabir Olalekan Balogun, has said he was

disappointed at his side's goalless draw against MFM FC in Sunday's first NPFL Lagos derby after over two decades.

"I feel bad because were supposed to win this match, knowing that MFM is a good team and the game ended goalless because we already know each other."

"When we finished the first half, our coach told us in the dressing room that he would change his tactics to accommodate five strikers, but when the game continued,  he removed me and I don't know why, he's knows best why he did what he did."

"I felt bad he removed me because as at that time, I was in the game, and I believed I could still something for the team."

"Yeah, we are planning well ahead of our game against IfeanyiUbah away and it is either a win or a draw for us, and we will also go to Akwa United with the same spirit, I'm sure we will pick a point each from the two games." Kabir told tomiwababalola.com

Also, the goalkeeper of the side, Adamu Azeez, said they were just

unlucky in the game, despite playing a 10-man MFM, whose player was red carded in the dying minutes of the game.

"Well, I can't say why the game ended that way, but I know we gave our best in the game and I enjoyed every bit of it because it was a derby match."

"The match ended like that because we have some experienced players in our team, but I think we have to focus and determination as we plan ahead of our next game."

"The match was a lovely match and I loved the game; we played according to plan, we tried to force the goals but they just didn't show up." Azeez concluded
