Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, has beaten Chelsea manager, Guus Hiddink, Leicester City boss, Claudio Ranieri and Southampton's Ronald Koeman to clinch Premier League Manager of the Month.
Victories over Watford, Swansea City, Norwich City and a hugely impressive 2-1 win away to Manchester City kept alive Spurs' hopes of a first top-flight title since 1961.
Guus Hiddink was also a candidate after Chelsea’s impressive turnaround in form, as was Southampton boss Ronald Koeman whose goalkeeper Fraser Forster picked up the February Player of the Month award after his exceptional form since returning from a serious knee injury.
Forster kept three clean sheets – including away to Arsenal – to set a new club record of 708 minutes without conceding.
"It's obviously fantastic to win the award,” the goalkeeper told Southampton's website.
“But it's just another incentive to keep working hard and work as hard as I can until the end of the season."
"I think it was a good month all round. We put in a lot of good performances as a team with a good run of clean sheets. If you're doing that then it's easier to win games."
Koeman expressed his delight in Forster’s performances and shared the goalkeeper’s opinion of their February form, adding:“We had a great month."
“He [Forster] had great performances when he came back. It's well deserved.”
